R&D and Producer of Interventional Medical Devices for Heart Disease



The 18th Annual Conference of Interventional Therapy (CIC2024), the 3rd Annual Conference of the Liaoning Provincial Society for Life Sciences in Interventional Medicine, and the 3rd Academic Conference on Interventional Nursing of the Liaoning Nursing Association were successfully held in Shenyang from August 23 to 25, 2024. On August 24, Shanghai Huihe Healthcare Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HuiHe Healthcare) hosted the investigator-initiated meeting for the "Vispearl® Visible Drug-Loaded Microspheres Post-Market Nationwide Real-World Study." Professor Yan Zhiping stated: "For intermediate and advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, comprehensive treatment based on TACE is crucial, and the importance of TACE goes without saying. We should recognize that the current issue lies in the insufficient refinement of TACE procedures. Therefore, we need to continuously develop innovative products to address these market deficiencies. The product discussed today is Vispearl, developed and produced by HuiHe Healthcare."®The drug-eluting microspheres with imaging capability, which possess the two characteristics of imaging and small particle size, are very good. At the same time, I hope everyone can work together to complete this clinical project as soon as possible, providing solid evidence support for our actual clinical application.

Professor Zhuhaidong's Lecture
Professor Zhu Haidong shared the experimental background, experimental devices, and specific details of the plan for this clinical trial. The plan is a prospective, single-arm, multi-center trial aimed at evaluating HuiHe Healthcare's Vispearl in real-world settings.®Clinical Effects of Drug-Eluting Microspheres with Imaging Capability in Transarterial Chemoembolization for Primary Liver Cancer. This protocol was developed by Zhongda Hospital, affiliated with Southeast University.Academician Gaojun Teng, Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan UniversityProfessor Yan ZhipingJointly led, with the enthusiastic participation of more than 20 centers, it has now officially started!
This solution uses Vispearl.®Visible drug-loaded microspheres, characterized by visibility, ultra-small particle size (40-90 microns), and excellent drug-loading capacity. The experimental process, inclusion and exclusion criteria, primary endpoints, and the overall project advancement plan were subsequently introduced. Finally, Professor Zhu Haidong raised several core discussion topics regarding the trial protocol.

Based on the characteristic that the particle size of microspheres does not change before and after drug loading, how to optimize the existing surgical plan to achieve the best embolization treatment effect.
The experts had a heated discussion on the above issues and put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions.

Professor Liu Zhaoyu summarized the investigator meeting: Real-world studies are highly necessary, as they not only benefit patients but also allow us to further explore the clinical value of visible drug-loaded microspheres. It is hoped that the participating units will complete this research quickly to provide more experimental results for clinical practice and offer greater support for the research on precision TACE.
