Johnson & Johnson Medical
Kevin Chen (Chen Chuhui), General Manager of Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology China Cardiovascular and Professional Solutions Division, and Head of External Affairs and Market Access, has submitted his resignation to the company to pursue external development opportunities. Chen Chuhui joined Johnson & Johnson in 2009 and successively held management positions in the Ethicon ASP Division, Endo Division’s Harmonic Scalpel business, Gynecare Division, and Mentor Division. After returning to Johnson & Johnson again in 2015, Chen Chuhui also took on important leadership roles such as Head of Channel Management, Strategic Customers, Operations, and Professional Education. On March 31, 2023, the former General Manager of Johnson & Johnson Medical Technology China Cardiovascular and Professional Solutions Division, Chen Xi, resigned. Afterwards, Chen Chuhui took over the position.

Varian announced that Dr. Xiaozhang, Senior Vice President of Varian globally and President of Greater China, will retire. Effective October 1, 2024, Christine Qian, General Manager of Varian Interventional Solutions in China, will be appointed as the head of Varian's Greater China region. Prior to joining Varian, Christine Qian held senior management positions at well-known companies such as Johnson & Johnson Medical, Boston Scientific, B. Braun, and Stryker. In 2021, Christine Qian was appointed as the General Manager of Varian’s Interventional Solutions in China.

B. Braun Medical China Appoints New Managing Director. Mr. Yeong Lih Chyun, Managing Director of B. Braun Medical Supply Chain and Head of Business Excellence for the Asia-Pacific region, has been appointed as the Managing Director for Greater China, effective August 1st. Mr. Yeong Lih Chyun will oversee B. Braun Medical's operations in Greater China and will continue to serve as a member of the Asia-Pacific Board. Until further notice, Mr. Yeong Lih Chyun will also retain his roles as Managing Director of B. Braun Medical Supply Chain and Head of Business Excellence for the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Yeong Lih Chyun brings over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, with more than 19 years at B. Braun Medical.

Innovent Bio President Yongjun Liu Resigns; Founder, Chairman and CEO Dechao Yu Now Oversees R&D Operations. Yongjun Liu previously served as a senior scientist at Schering-Plough and as a principal scientist at DNAX Research Institute, a biotechnology subsidiary of Schering-Plough. In 2014, Yongjun Liu was appointed Chief Scientific Officer and Global Head of Research at MedImmune, the global biologics research and development subsidiary of AstraZeneca. In 2016, he became Global Head of Research at Sanofi. In 2020, Yongjun Liu joined Innovent Bio, where he was responsible for the company's global R&D, pipeline strategy, business development, and international operations.

JW Therapeutics Announces the Appointment of Mr. Liu Min as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Liu Min will also serve as an Executive Director on the company’s Board of Directors. Dr. Li Yiping has stepped down as CEO of the company, but during the transition period, he will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board.
