The World Health Organization has listed blinding eye diseases as one of the three major diseases affecting the quality of human life. The "14th Five-Year Plan" for National Eye Health Planning issued by China's National Health Commission once again identifies children and adolescents as key focus groups, with refractive errors such as myopia listed as priority eye conditions.

Promote High-Quality Development in Ophthalmology Diagnosis and Treatment
In recent years, from "disease treatment" to "health management," the demand for healthcare has been increasing daily. Thanks to the rapid development of the Internet, big data, and artificial intelligence, these advancements have not only expanded the boundaries of industrial development but also made innovative breakthroughs possible at the intersection of existing industry convergence.
As the organizer of the 19th International Myopia Conference in 2024, Aier Eye has made remarkable achievements in the field of optometric technology innovation. In 2016, Aier Eye independently developed the world's first intelligent wearable device for myopia prevention and control, "Cloud Clip," effectively filling the gap in monitoring technology for adolescent myopia prevention and control. Relying on "Cloud Clip" as a key technical device, Aier Eye launched the first multi-center research project on big data of myopia, led by a Chinese research team and involving top research teams from 16 countries worldwide, in 2018. In 2022, with the research direction of "Development and Application of Ultra-Widefield High-Speed Peripheral Retinal Defocus Detection Equipment," Aier Eye was approved to lead the key special project of "Intergovernmental International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation" under the National Key Research and Development Program.
MAGNOSIS is a leading Chinese enterprise in the research and development and production of "wearable magnetoencephalography (MEG)," being the first to achieve technological breakthroughs in wearable MEG and its core component, the zero-field atomic magnetometer probe. It has been granted multiple domestic and international patents, established a North American R&D center, and is committed to promoting the clinical transformation of new biological weak magnetic detection equipment such as novel MEG. Founded in 2019, MAGNOSIS is a commercialized achievement incubated by the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
This collaboration between Aier Eye Optometry Research Institute and MAGNOSIS will be based on the platform of ophthalmology and visual cognitive science, jointly establishing the world’s first magnetoencephalography (MEG) system dedicated to research and clinical applications for children with neuro-ophthalmic disorders. Utilizing MEG technology, this initiative aims to achieve innovation and breakthroughs in the field of eye health management across the entire life cycle.
At the same time, it will also rely on the current research in ophthalmic optometry and process technology, integrate and utilize expert resources, clinical data, and other resources to promote the transformation and market entry of more clinically needed technologies, benefiting a large number of patients with eye diseases.
