Workshop on Quality Control and Scientific Management of Surgical Instruments & Academic Seminar of Tianjin Medical Consumables Quality Control Center: Reliability and Technical Differentiation Tasting Session

On September 28, 2024, the Beijing Smart Healthcare Technology Innovation Alliance successfully held the Surgical Equipment Lifecycle Management Seminar Series - Surgical Instruments Quality Control and Scientific Management Practices Seminar & Academic Symposium of the Tianjin Medical Consumables Quality Control Center in Tianjin. The seminar invited renowned experts, scholars, and industry practitioners from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and other regions to discuss the importance of quality control and scientific management of surgical instruments, as well as the latest advancements and challenges in the field of medical consumables quality control.

This seminar focuses on key issues in the scientific management of surgical equipment, including the selection and use management of medical consumables based on clinical health technology assessment, medical device procurement management, new technologies and methods for surgical instruments, medical equipment quality control, and other topics. It also provides an in-depth interpretation of the differences between Class II and Class III medical devices from the perspective of laws and regulations, as well as how to choose the correct medical device equipment during surgery. Through the lecture sessions on new technologies and methods during the seminar, the attending guests not only gained a deeper understanding of new types of equipment but also expanded their thinking range regarding surgical methods.
