cobas eplex Respiratory Pathogen 2 (RP2) is a multiplex nucleic acid test for the qualitative detection of more than 20 common viral and bacterial pathogens that cause respiratory infections. The Roche RP2 test has not been approved or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The test has been authorized by FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for use in authorized laboratories.
