Illumina Announces Leadership Transition as General Counsel Charles Dadswell Steps Down

On October 3, according to Illumina,General Counsel of IlluminaCharles DadswellAbout to leave, will continue to serve as a consultant until the end of March 2025.
The company has appointed Scott Davies as interim General Counsel and Secretary, while also making efforts to find a new successor.
It is reported that Charles Dadswell joined the company as General Counsel in 2013, after a distinguished career as a legal advisor in the biotechnology field. Most recently, he was responsible for overseeing the company’s successful challenge to the European Commission's jurisdiction over Illumina's acquisition of GRAIL at the European Court of Justice.
