October 10, 2024, XtalPi (QUANTUMPH-P,Stock Code:2228.HK) announced that its subsidiary, Ailux Biologics, has signed an AI platform licensing agreement for large molecule drug discovery with Janssen Biotech, Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. Under the agreement, XtalPi grants Janssen Biotech and its affiliates a commercial license to use Ailux Biologics' self-developed XtalFold™ AI platform for the discovery and engineering design of large molecule drugs. XtalFold™ is an AI-based software platform capable of providing rapid and accurate structural information for large molecule drug development, accelerating innovation across multiple stages of research and development. This collaboration was facilitated by Johnson & Johnson Innovation. XtalFold™ utilizes sequence information to model interactions between biomacromolecules, which are the basis for the efficacy of macromolecular drugs such as monoclonal antibodies. In rigorous benchmarking tests, XtalFold™ has demonstrated industry-leading performance in overall success rate and the quality of challenging-to-model regions, such as antibody-antigen interfaces. Developed and continuously iterated by XtalPi one year ago, XtalFold™ has been fully validated in over 30 internal and external projects, achieving significant results across various application scenarios, including antigen design, epitope identification, affinity maturation, pH sensitivity modification, and bispecific antibody design. Li Yi, Vice President of XtalPi and Head of Ailux BiologicsSaid: "Macromolecular drugs are sophisticated machines operating in three-dimensional space. XtalFold™ can quickly visualize and design them in 3D, whereas achieving similar results with traditional experimental methods would take months. We are thrilled to share this transformative technology, which has already proven its impact internally, with Janssen Biotech to help accelerate drug discovery." ●About Ailux Biologics● Ailux Biologics is XtalPi(QUANTUMPH-P, Stock Code:2228.HK)The large molecule drug discovery innovation department, with a team of approximately 100 experts, has established a world-class large molecule drug discovery laboratory within the industry.
