Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common arrhythmia in clinical practice, characterized by the disappearance of regular and orderly atrial electrical activity, which is replaced by rapid and disordered fibrillation waves. It represents a severe form of atrial electrical disturbance. This condition not only affects the normal function of the heart but also increases the risk of thrombosis and stroke. Data shows that the prevalence of AF rises with age, and among people over 80 years old, the proportion of AF patients exceeds 10%. AF can increase all-cause mortality in the population by 1.5 to 3.5 times, imposing significant health impacts and economic burdens on patients and their families. It has become a global public health issue that urgently needs to be addressed.

The circular pulmonary vein mapping catheter is one of the indispensable mapping catheters in atrial fibrillation surgery. The Cathvenus® disposable adjustable bend circular pulmonary vein mapping catheter, composed of an O-ring, a tube body, and a handle, is used for mapping, recording pulmonary vein electrical signals, or performing pacing stimulation. The product offers various fixed distal loop diameter options to accommodate different sizes of pulmonary veins, enabling rapid and precise modeling and capturing more anatomical details.

The launch of Cathvenus® disposable adjustable loop pulmonary vein mapping catheter further enhances the safety and effectiveness of atrial fibrillation surgery, contributing to the development of China's electrophysiology field.
