On October 13, driven by new circumstances, the Beijing Intelligent Healthcare Technology Innovation Alliance, in collaboration with the Jiangsu Research Association, hosted the "Symposium on Scientific Management of Surgical Instruments and Release Conference of 'Expert Recommendations for the Implementation of Centralized Bulk Procurement of Medical Consumables for Endoscopic Surgery in Jiangsu Province Medical Institutions'" in Nanjing, the ancient capital of six dynasties. This conference not only focused on the scientific management of surgical instruments but also released expert recommendations for centralized bulk procurement of medical consumables used in endoscopic surgery, providing highly valuable guidance and reference for medical institutions across Jiangsu Province and China.
The meeting brought together numerous medical experts from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui and other regions to comprehensively and deeply interpret the "Expert Recommendations on the Implementation of Centralized Volume-based Procurement of Endoscopic Surgery Medical Consumables by Medical Institutions in Jiangsu Province". The "Recommendations" aim to standardize the procurement process of endoscopic surgery medical consumables, effectively reduce procurement costs, and improve medical quality and efficiency at the same time. The experts analyzed the contents of the recommendations chapter by chapter, explaining their background, purpose, implementation steps, as well as possible challenges and solutions. The participants unanimously agreed that the release of these "Recommendations" is of great significance for promoting the scientific and standardized management of centralized volume-based procurement of endoscopic surgery medical consumables.
