Recently, Johnson & Johnson (Biosense Webster announced that its flagship product, the Carto 3 three-dimensional navigation system, is now officially compatible with Boston Scientific's FARAPULSE pulsed ablation catheter. This follows Abbott's Ensite X system as another...Proactively open-sourcing its 3D system to FARAPULSE's 3D system marks a further expansion of FARAPULSE's global influence.

FARAPULSE Pulse Ablation System, with its innovative catheter design, achieves efficient pulmonary vein isolation for atrial fibrillation through the transformation of the catheter into "basket" and "flower petal" shapes. Since its launch three years ago, FARAPULSE has received approvals from regulatory authorities in Europe, the United States, and China, with the number of global application cases exceeding 125,000.

Carto 3 System is the most widely used 3D navigation system globally, capable of providing 3D visualization for ablation catheters and reducing the use of X-rays during surgery. This update enables the FARAPULSE catheter to display its position in real time on the Carto 3 system, clearly showing its unique basket and petal shapes. This provides more options for the surgical application of FARAPULSE.
