Eli Lilly to Launch Obesity Drug Mounjaro in Denmark Next Week

Gelonghui October 24 | Eli Lilly and Company, the U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturer, announced on Thursday that it will launch its obesity drug Mounjaro in Denmark next week, challenging its competitor, Denmark-based Novo Nordisk. A spokesperson for Eli Lilly stated that the price of Mounjaro will be approximately 2,200 Danish kroner per month (about $318.5). According to data from the Danish Medicines Agency's website, the cost of Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy ranges from 1,313 Danish kroner per month for the starting dose to 2,353 Danish kroner per month for the maximum maintenance dose.
