As a member of the China Biological Evaluation Standardization Technical Committee and the Biological Materials Evaluation Branch of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, NewMed actively participates in the development of industry and national standards, promotes the drafting and validation of standards, continuously enriches and improves the evaluation standard system for high-end medical devices, and strongly supports the high-quality development of standardization efforts.

At the same time, to promote innovative research and technological development in the key technical field of biomaterials for medical devices, NewMed has jointly established the "Biomaterials & Medical Device Technology Innovation Joint Laboratory" with Sichuan University, the "Medical Polymer Materials & Medical Device Technology Joint Laboratory" with the Polymer Department of Zhejiang University, and the "Biomechanics Innovation Joint Laboratory for Implantable Medical Devices" with Beihang University. These collaborations deepen the integration of medical and engineering models in the field of biomaterials for medical devices, further enhance the company's research capabilities, accelerate the tackling of "bottleneck" technologies, and facilitate technology transfer, achievement transformation, and industrialization.
