Chimagen Biosciences is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing novel multispecific T cell engagers and NK cell engagers through its proprietary antibody engineering platform.
CD20 is an established target in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, and clinical evidence increasingly suggests that CD19, due to its expression across a broader range of B cell types, also holds unique therapeutic potential.CMG1A46 is a bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously target CD19 and CD20, featuring an IgG-like molecular structure. It exhibits high affinity for CD19 and CD20 positive B cells while having a lower affinity for CD3, which may help reduce toxicity commonly associated with TCE.In preclinical studies, the therapy demonstrated rapid and deep B-cell depletion in both blood and tissues, potentially offering patients a more durable treatment response.CMG1A46 is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials in the United States and China for the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma patients. GSK plans to initiate a Phase 1 clinical trial for lupus in 2025.

According to the terms of the agreement, GSK will pay a $300 million upfront fee to obtain global full rights to CMG1A46.Chimagen Biosciences is eligible to receive milestone payments for development and commercialization, totaling $550 million.
