The patient is a 69-year-old female who was admitted to the hospital due to "palpitations without obvious cause one month ago." After admission, relevant examinations were completed. The electrocardiogram diagnosed atrial fibrillation with a heart rate of 147 beats per minute. Echocardiography indicated: anteroposterior diameter of the left atrium was 37mm, and the left ventricular ejection fraction was 61%. After comprehensive evaluation by the operator, the ArtGlacier™ cryoablation system and ArtFreezer™ balloon cryoablation catheter from Artechmed were used for atrial fibrillation cryoablation. The patient's pulmonary veins had no common ostium or branches. The ArtDeliver™ steerable sheath was used to deliver the cryoablation catheter to the pulmonary vein ostium for occlusion. The catheter's excellent adaptability allowed it to better conform to the pulmonary vein vestibule. After contrast agent verification of good occlusion, cryoablation was performed. During the procedure, the ArtCircle™ circular mapping catheter clearly recorded TTI of each pulmonary vein. Electrophysiological examination after ablation confirmed immediate isolation effect. No complications occurred during the surgery, and the patient remained stable postoperatively and will be discharged on a selected date.
