At the 7th CIIE, Johnson & Johnson announced the launch of its innovative drug Talique (Talquetamab Injection) in China. As a monotherapy, it is indicated for adult patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) who have received at least three prior lines of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent, and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody. As the world's first and currently the only BCMA×CD3 bispecific antibody launched in China, Talique has ushered in a new era of bispecific antibody immunotherapy for multiple myeloma in China.

Tylex officially launched in China
Talquetamab is a globally first-in-class, ready-to-use, weight-based subcutaneous bispecific antibody that redirects CD3+ T cells to BCMA-expressing myeloma cells to induce tumor cell killing. Clinical data show that Talquetamab has a high response rate in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least three prior lines of therapy, with significant benefits for Chinese patients. The overall response rate (ORR) reached 76.9%, all achieving very good partial response (VGPR) or better, 57.7% of patients achieved complete response (CR) or better, and 90% of evaluable patients for minimal residual disease (MRD) achieved MRD negativity.
Multiple Myeloma is the second most common malignant tumor in the field of hematological oncology in China, characterized by the abnormal proliferation of clonal plasma cells, accounting for approximately 13% of hematological malignancies. Between 1990 and 2019, the incidence of this disease increased by 209%, imposing a heavy disease burden on patients' families and society.

Professor Jun Ma from the Harbin Hematology and Oncology Research Institute
In recent years, with the continuous development of diagnostic technologies and therapeutic drugs, significant progress has been made in the treatment of multiple myeloma over the past few years. However, many patients still face the dilemma of relapse and refractory disease. Professor Jun Ma from the Harbin Hematology and Oncology Institute pointed out that as a highly heterogeneous hematological malignancy, almost all patients will encounter relapse or drug resistance during the treatment process. As the disease progresses, the more times a patient relapses, the greater the difficulty of subsequent treatments becomes, and the depth of remission after relapse also decreases, with the duration of sustained remission continuously shortening. Therefore, patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have previously received at least three lines of therapy are in urgent need of more effective treatment options.

Professor Peng Liu, Director of the Department of Hematology at Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University
The depth of response is an important indicator for evaluating the efficacy of multiple myeloma treatment. In this regard, Professor Liu Peng, Director of the Hematology Department at Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, explained that for patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, the primary treatment goal is to achieve deep and durable hematological remission, extend progression-free survival and overall survival, and improve the quality of life for patients. The overall treatment of multiple myeloma needs to prioritize the depth of response while also considering maintenance therapy. With its unique dual-targeting mechanism and significant anti-tumor activity, Talquetamab can help patients achieve rapid and sustained deep remission, providing significant clinical benefits. At the same time, adhering to long-term standardized treatment is also an essential condition for achieving high-quality long-term survival in multiple myeloma.

Customized Eight-Section Brocade Rehabilitation Exercises for Hematological Tumors
In order to better strengthen the concept of continuous standardized treatment and empower more myeloma patients with the confidence to bravely face the challenges of their disease, Johnson & Johnson, in collaboration with People's Good Doctor of People's Daily Online, has customized a set of Baduanjin rehabilitation exercises for hematology and oncology patients. This was showcased brilliantly at the 7th China International Import Expo. The live Baduanjin performance helped to relax both mind and body and boost immunity through gentle and fluid movements, encouraging patients to adopt a more positive attitude and stronger belief in combating their illness. At the same time, by incorporating tailored mantras and rehabilitation movements, it expressed all patients' earnest hopes for "deeper remission, longer survival, and moving towards functional cure."
