Xinhua News Agency, Shanghai, November 8th (by reporter Lichén) — From being a "first-time visitor" to a "repeat customer" and then a "regular participant," GSK has shown great enthusiasm for the CIIE and increasingly firm confidence in the Chinese market. Yu Huiming, Vice President of GSK and General Manager of China, stated that GSK hopes to use the CIIE as an international platform to showcase its innovative achievements in the biopharmaceutical field. Through the spillover effects of the CIIE, GSK aims to accelerate the accessibility of its innovative products in China, contributing to the construction of Healthy China.

At this year's CIIE, GSK showcased for the first time in China the world's first long-acting HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) drug, which has drawn significant attention since its approval in May this year. During the exhibition, GSK will also establish strategic partnerships with multiple associations and research institutes, and host a series of forums and seminars to jointly explore innovative approaches in healthcare. Yu Huiming noted that GSK looks forward to further deepening cooperation with local partners, continuously expanding its "circle of friends," and working together to promote mutually beneficial development in both the global and Chinese markets.
