This TAVR product features an innovative "large-window frame" design, providing more space for future coronary intervention catheter operations.
In addition, Medtronic also showcased the SynchroMed III implantable drug infusion pump for treating cancer pain, other chronic pain, and spasticity; the portable VitalFlow ECMO system for life support in critically ill patients; the latest generation globally of intelligent, sensing, and rechargeable brain pacemaker Percept RC; and the Penditure left atrial appendage closure system—four innovative products making their Asia-Pacific debut.
Fosun Pharmaceutical
"MagWave Knife" New V2 Model Debuts in China
This year, Fosun Pharmaceutical continues to collaborate with global partners to introduce several innovative medical device products, including the Ion Bronchoscopic Navigation and Control System, the Da Vinci Surgical Robot, and the new "MagWave Knife" V2 model, all of which have been approved in China.
Fosun Pharmaceutical and INSIGHTEC, the global leader in non-invasive treatment, established a joint venture in China in 2024 named Fosun INSIGHTEC. At this year's CIIE, Fosun INSIGHTEC showcased the all-new V2 model of the "MR-guided Focused Ultrasound" (magnetic resonance-guided focused ultrasound) for its China debut. This model not only provides a non-invasive surgical solution for the clinical treatment of medication-refractory essential tremor and tremor-dominant Parkinson’s disease but also allows the V2 system to be compatible with more brands and models of MRI equipment, further expanding the accessibility of this technology.
Varian Medical
Bring Intelligent Cancer Treatment Solutions
At this year's CIIE, Varian Medical Systems showcased several innovative products and intelligent cancer treatment solutions with global and China debuts, including the world's first adaptive radiosurgery hybrid operating room.

Innovative Solution for Precision Hypofractionated Radiation Therapy of Breast Cancer Guided by Surface Imaging, a Global Innovation in Breast Cancer Radiotherapy Introduced by Varian Medical Systems. According to reports, this solution allows for larger single-dose irradiation, shorter treatment duration, and fewer side effects, reducing the conventional breast cancer radiotherapy course from 5-6 weeks to 1-3 weeks. It helps improve patients' expected quality of life and promotes the transition from conventional radiotherapy with small doses and multiple sessions to hypofractionated precision radiotherapy with high doses, fewer sessions, and low side effects.
The Adaptive Radiosurgery Composite Operating Room is Varian Medical Systems' first-ever globally launched AI-driven multimodal image-guided online adaptive radiotherapy solution. This innovative solution, jointly proposed by Siemens Healthineers and Varian Medical Systems, enhances the individual precision of radiotherapy by organically integrating a novel 0.55T low-field magnetic resonance (MR) system with an adaptive radiotherapy robot.
GE Healthcare
Focus on precision diagnosis and treatment, and other fields
This year, GE Healthcare, participating in the exhibition for the seventh consecutive year, showcased 17 innovative achievements, the highest number in its history. Among them are seven global premieres and ten products exhibited in China for the first time. The focus is on precision medicine for serious diseases, primary healthcare, digital-physical integration innovation, and integrated diagnosis and treatment solutions.
GE Healthcare Unveils Max Apollo, Its First AI and Deep Learning-Powered Full Imaging Chain Digital PET/CT in China. The product, leveraging a new digital PET detector and Precision DL embedded in the data acquisition front end, along with comprehensive enhancements in software and hardware performance, significantly improves data acquisition quality, reduces noise interference, enhances quantitative accuracy, promotes the clinical application of more innovative radiotracers, and brings new approaches to the precise diagnosis and treatment of major diseases such as neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer.
In addition, focusing on the precise diagnosis and treatment of serious diseases, GE Healthcare showcased the SIGNA Pilot Lingyun 3.0T "second-reading imaging" MRI; in terms of primary healthcare, it introduced the Versana Premier Huayao, a full-body ultrasound integrating more AI applications and automated workflows; regarding digital-physical integration, GE Healthcare presented its globally debuted large language model for imaging, "Jiyida," among others.
Siemens Healthineers
Local Collaboration Innovation Achievements Unveiled
Siemens Healthineers, which has attended the CIIE for seven consecutive years, showcased nearly 20 cutting-edge technologies and diverse solutions this year, including almost 10 innovative products being launched or exhibited for the first time.
Notably, Siemens Healthineers, in collaboration with a local innovative enterprise, unveiled for the first time their jointly developed achievement — the world's first integrated multimodal treatment platform. This platform innovatively combines DSA and OCT intravascular imaging in a one-stop solution, providing doctors with comprehensive information on patient vascular treatment from anatomy to function. It empowers doctors to offer precise personalized surgical plans for patients, seamlessly connects workflows, and significantly improves surgical efficiency.

In the field of molecular imaging, Siemens Healthineers' latest generation Biograph Vision Quadra made its debut in China. This product is the world's first whole-body PET/CT to adopt ultra-high-performance Time-of-Flight (TOF) technology. Its superior system detection efficiency can significantly reduce radiation doses for patients (including sensitive populations such as children) while minimizing scan time to the greatest extent.
Boston Scientific
Dedicated to Meeting Diverse Diagnostic and Treatment Needs
At this year's CIIE, Boston Scientific showcased more than 80 innovative achievements, covering multiple fields such as cardiology, peripheral vascular, oncology, urology, gastroenterology, and neuromodulation.
As the latest representative of Boston Scientific's localized production and research in China, the new generation of intravascular ultrasound system AVVIGO+ MAH made its "China debut" at this year's CIIE. This product integrates a multi-mode platform combining imaging and functional studies, utilizing artificial intelligence software for imaging ultrasound (process optimization functions) to streamline physicians' assessment procedures during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), reduce operation time, and improve long-term patient outcomes. Reportedly, this innovative product was deeply co-developed by a China-based team, with core hardware and software developed in China.
In addition, Boston Scientific also showcased innovative products such as the ACURATE neo2 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) System for treating aortic valve stenosis, the AGENT Paclitaxel-Coated PTCA Balloon Catheter (DCB) for treating in-stent restenosis of coronary arteries, and the Vercise Genus Implantable Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) System for treating Parkinson's disease.
