December 1, 2024, Chicago – At the 2024 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting, GE Healthcare showcased more than 40 innovative technologies and solutions, including multiple artificial intelligence (AI) innovations and solutions, committed to enhancing patient care, improving diagnostic efficiency, and advancing precision medicine.
GE Healthcare's innovative achievements displayed at RSNA aim to further enhance diagnostic and treatment efficiency by seamlessly integrating data to promote precision medicine across various clinical pathways. These innovations represent the results of GE Healthcare’s relentless efforts in recent years to deeply integrate AI with medical services as part of its digital strategy, which focuses on continuously driving the fusion of AI with equipment, and developing more AI and digital tools to empower clinical decision-making and improve disease diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) surveyed more than 8,000 radiology professionals and released a report in 2024. The results showed that over half of the respondents reported feeling extremely emotionally exhausted, and 57% felt they were not valued or recognized at work.

· Clarify DL,An AI technology-driven bone image reconstruction algorithm can help improve SPECT image quality and enhance diagnostic confidence (currently under U.S. 510(k) review.)
· nCommand Lite by IONIC HealthSupports remote imaging scans, including remote scanning assistance for MRI, CT, and PET/CT, enabling radiologists to focus more on patient care.
· True PACS and v7 PACS Solution, Now SupportedBlackford’s AI collaboration platform and third-party AI imaging application tools can be seamlessly integrated into the film-reading workflow, assisting radiology and clinical teams in achieving rapid and precise diagnoses. This collaboration allows customers of True PACS and v7 PACS solutions to directly access Blackford Analysis' AI platform as well as a range of third-party AI applications, covering multiple clinical fields from breast imaging to lung scans. (This application is not available in all countries and markets.)
· MR Max 3™, Adopting a wireless and needle-free design for gadolinium-based contrast agents, it is compatible with various sizes of contrast agent bottles, including 24-hour multi-purpose containers, greatly enhancing usage flexibility, improving work efficiency, reducing plastic waste consumption, minimizing contrast agent waste, and thereby significantly lowering overall operational costs.
· Caption Guidance™,Driven by a deep learning image analysis algorithm, it can provide real-time guidance to doctors for adjusting the ultrasound probe, ensuring that the acquired cardiac ultrasound images meet diagnostic standards.
· Venue Sprint™, the latest product in the Venue series, provides high-quality scanning and support for clinical ultrasound scenarios with its excellent portability and advanced features. The Venue ultrasound family will also integrate the wireless handheld ultrasound Vscan Air with a dual-sided probe and incorporate the Caption Guidance application.
· Vscan Air SL, the latest Applause ultrasound equipped with Caption AI, including Caption Interpretation AutoEF software, can automatically calculate left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), quickly assess the heart and blood vessels, and help clinicians rapidly diagnose and make treatment decisions for cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, digital tools enable Vscan Air to securely store and share images in the cloud.

· GE Healthcare and RadNet recently announced a strategic partnership aimed at leveraging GE Healthcare's expertise and innovations in medical imaging, along with RadNet’s DeepHealth AI technology solutions, to further advance AI innovation and commercial implementation in the imaging field. Through this collaboration, GE Healthcare and DeepHealth will jointly develop SmartTechnology™ solutions, utilizing AI to enhance radiology workflows and address key challenges in the imaging value chain. This effort aims to improve clinical efficiency, increase diagnostic accuracy, and ultimately elevate patient care.
· Senographe Pristina Via It is a leading mammography system that brings a smoother workflow and simplifies the image acquisition process through a series of innovative features.
· CareIntellect for OncologyIt is a brand-new cloud-based application that can aggregate multimodal patient data from different systems into a unified view, and use generative artificial intelligence to summarize clinical data and reports. This helps doctors quickly grasp disease progression and assist in decision-making and planning for the next steps in treatment. The application is planned to launch in the United States in 2025, initially targeting the treatment of prostate cancer and breast cancer. Tampa General Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center will be the first evaluators of CareIntellect for Oncology.
Theranostics is a rapidly evolving field of molecular imaging that utilizes tracers and diagnostic imaging equipment, including PET and SPECT systems, for accurate diagnosis and disease monitoring, while providing precise targeted treatments for patients. These therapeutic and diagnostic technologies work together to offer highly personalized, accurate, and patient-centered solutions for medical diagnosis and treatment. GE Healthcare also showcased innovative technologies related to theranostics at this event.
