DualityBio Has Sold Its Fifth ADC Drug.
On December 4, Yingen Bio announced a collaboration with GSK regarding the early-stage ADC drug DB-1324 under research. According to the agreement,GSK to Pay $30 Million Upfront and Other Pre-Exercise Milestone Payments。If GSK exercises its option, it will also pay an option exercise fee and milestone payments of up to $975 million, bringing the total agreement value to over $1 billion, approximately 7.2 billion yuan.
DB-1324 is an innovative ADC developed based on DyNAbind's proprietary bispecific ADC platform, DITAC.Currently, the product is still inClinicalPre-development stage,Duality Bio has not yet disclosed the specific target of this product, which may be aimed at gastrointestinal cancers. Duality Bio stated,This ADC drug has the potential to be used in combination with multiple GSK oncology products.。
Previously, Duality Bio has reached multiple overseas licensing deals. In the booming ADC field of 2023, Duality Bio consecutively licensed out four ADC drugs.The authorized parties are BioNTech and BeiGene, respectively.
In August this year, DualityBio submitted a prospectus for its listing application on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The prospectus shows that DualityBio has a total of 12 ADC candidate drugs, covering multiple popular targets such as HER2, HER3, TROP2, and B7-H3.Among them, the HER2 ADC with the fastest progress is inClinicalPhase 3.And the DB-1324 in this transaction was not previously disclosed in the pipeline.
