Fosun Kite Biotechnology Co., Ltd., established in 2017, is a high-tech biopharmaceutical enterprise under Fosun Pharma. Fosun Kairos introduced Yescarta®, a CAR-T cell therapy for relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma, from Kite Pharma (a Gilead company) in the United States and localized its production in China. In June 2021, Fosun Kairos received approval for the launch of Yikaida® (axicabtagene ciloleucel injection), China’s first CAR-T cell therapy product. In June 2023, Yikaida® gained approval for a new indication: adult large B-cell lymphoma that is unresponsive to first-line immunochemotherapy or relapses within 12 months after first-line immunochemotherapy. The successful launch of Yikaida® officially marked the inaugural year of CAR-T therapy in China and continues to drive high-quality development in the field of lymphoma treatment. Fosun Kairos has established a cell therapy R&D center and technology development platform exceeding 2,000 square meters in Zhangjiang, Shanghai, assembling a team of highly educated and skilled R&D scientists from both domestic and international backgrounds. Committed to technology introduction, independent innovation, and collaborative development, the company focuses on early-stage CAR-T R&D and projects in the clinical evidence-gathering phase, building a sustainable pipeline of innovative cell therapy research and development.
