NEWISH specializes in early-stage cancer treatment, focusing on the research and development of immune cell therapies and First-in-Class gene therapy drugs with fully independent intellectual property rights. The company has established two technological platforms: STARi (Super Targeting Activated Response of Immunization), a nucleic acid drug platform designed to super-activate targeted T-cell immune responses for the development of various cancer vaccine products; and the Newish T-cell Therapy Platform, featuring an autologous memory lymphocyte injection—the world’s first cell therapy product approved by national drug regulatory authorities with central memory T cells as its main component, used to prevent recurrence after surgery for various solid tumors. Located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, NEWISH operates a B+A grade GMP pilot plant for new drugs, as well as R&D laboratories for nucleic acid drugs and tumor metabolism drugs.
