CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Recognized as Hebei Province's Leading Science and Technology Backbone Enterprise

Recently, the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced the list of provincial-level key technological backbone enterprises for 2026, with CSPC successfully recognized as a leading key technological backbone enterprise in Hebei Province.

In accordance with the selection criteria established by the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, leading backbone technology enterprises represent one of the highest-tier cultivation entities for technological innovation within the province. These enterprises must meet five stringent core thresholds: R&D investment must be at a domestically leading level within the same industry, with an average R&D investment intensity over the past three years generally no lower than 5%; they must possess core independent intellectual property rights, typically holding no fewer than 100 valid invention patents; they must operate provincial-level or higher innovation platforms, or have established high-caliber technological innovation platforms; they must employ high-level scientific and technological leaders and innovative teams; and their main products must rank among the industry leaders in terms of market share.

CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited remains steadfast in its commitment to innovation and internationalization strategies. According to the Group’s 2025 performance report, R&D investment amounted to RMB 5.809 billion (covering only the listed segment), accounting for 28.2% of the revenue from finished pharmaceutical products.
