CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Recognized as Hebei Province's Leading Science and Technology Backbone Enterprise

Recently, the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology announced the 2026 provincial list of key scientific and technological backbone enterprises. CSPC was successfully recognized as a leading-type key scientific and technological backbone enterprise in Hebei Province.

According to the selection criteria of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, leading backbone technology enterprises are among the highest-level cultivation subjects for scientific and technological innovation enterprises in the province, with five stringent thresholds: R&D investment must be at a domestically leading level within the same industry, with an average R&D investment intensity over the past three years generally no less than 5%; possession of core independent intellectual property rights, with the number of valid invention patents generally no less than 100; possession of provincial-level or higher innovation platforms, or establishment of high-level scientific and technological innovation platforms; possession of high-caliber scientific and technological leading talents and innovative teams; and main products’ market share ranking among the forefront of the industry.

CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited has consistently adhered to its innovation and internationalization strategies. According to the Group’s 2025 performance report, R&D investment amounted to RMB 5.809 billion (covering only the listed portion), accounting for 28.2% of the revenue from finished pharmaceutical products.
