Sinopharm Guangzhou Launches Innovent Bio South China Warehouse (Sinopharm Guangzhou Warehouse) to Advance Smart Supply Chain Collaboration

On the morning of July 1, the inauguration ceremony for Innovent’s South China Warehouse (Sinopharm Guangzhou Warehouse) was successfully held at the Sinopharm Holdings Guangzhou Logistics Center.

Innovent’s South China Warehouse (Sinopharm Guangzhou Warehouse) Officially Commences Operations, Marking the Successful Implementation of Key Outcomes from the Deepened Strategic Cooperation between Sinopharm Guangzhou and Innovent, and Signifying Another Milestone for Sinopharm Guangzhou in Deepening Collaboration and Expanding Services within the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Logistics Sector.

Huang Minchun, Deputy General Manager of Sinopharm Consistency and Sinopharm Guangzhou, pointed out that the Innovent South China Warehouse (Sinopharm Guangzhou Warehouse) is the first sub-warehouse established by Innovent in China. It is a benchmark project for both parties to build a smart supply chain relying on Sinopharm's network resources and digital capabilities, and also a milestone in the company's new business cooperation model.

Ma Jiancong, General Manager of the Logistics Management Center of Sinopharm Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Director of Sinopharm Logistics, stated that this collaboration represents “upstream synergy” within the supply chain. The company will provide professional cold-chain assurance for Innovent’s South China market in accordance with its “Three-Alls” standard: full-link traceability, round-the-clock monitoring, and all-scenario emergency response.

Qi Lin, Deputy Director of Business for South China at Innovent, stated that Innovent remains committed to its mission of “developing high-quality biologics affordable to the general public.” The South China Shared Warehouse will elevate the partnership between the two parties from a traditional sales and distribution model to a deep, end-to-end, digital, and ecosystem-driven collaboration.

Yu Jianying, Deputy Director of Logistics at Innovent Biologics, emphasized that the pharmaceutical supply chain is the lifeline of the biopharmaceutical industry. The company’s South China Regional Distribution Center will leverage Guangzhou’s strategic location to serve the entire South China region, partnering with Sinopharm Guangzhou to safeguard patient access to safe medications through compliant and efficient cold-chain capabilities.

At the ceremony, leaders from both parties jointly cut the ribbon, marking the official commencement of operations for Innovent’s South China Warehouse (Sinopharm Guangzhou Warehouse). Subsequently, cold-chain transport vehicles loaded with the first batch of Innovent’s pharmaceutical products departed from the warehouse, embarking on a new journey of service.

Following the launch ceremony, attendees conducted an on-site tour of the warehouse facility and engaged in in-depth discussions on Sinopharm Guangzhou’s multi-warehouse network layout and supply chain collaboration.

Looking ahead, Sinopharm Guangzhou will continue to deepen its development of smart supply chains, drive service upgrades through digital capabilities, and collaborate with partners across broader fields and at deeper levels.
