Dear Patients and Family Members:

Our hospital's Department of Neurosurgery is currently conducting a clinical trial:A Prospective, Multicenter, Single-Arm Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of an Implantable Flexible Intracortical Brain-Computer Interface System for Motor Function Restoration in Patients with Quadriplegia Due to Spinal Cord Injury(Protocol Number: XZDNMGCP001), the Principal Investigator isZhao Yuanli. This study has been approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of our hospital (Approval No.: KS20261102), and we are now publicly recruiting participants (individuals with quadriplegia resulting from cervical spinal cord injury).

The investigational medical device in this study is “Implantable Flexible Intracortical Brain-Computer Interface System"Also known as (“Beijing Brain One” Intelligent Brain-Computer Interface System), provided by NEUCYBER, classified as a Class III medical device. This study will last approximately 26 weeks (6 months), during which there will be five on-site follow-up visits. For each visit, patients are required to come to the hospital for various examinations conducted by physicians to assess their health status.

(1)

Age: 18–65 years, inclusive; no gender restriction;

(2)

Cervical spinal cord injury resulting in quadriplegia for more than 12 months, with no further improvement in upper limb motor function after inpatient rehabilitation therapy;

(3)

In a seated position without assistance, the patient can manually touch their mouth but cannot grasp a water cup;

(4)

Normal bilateral visual acuity or corrected visual acuity, normal hearing, and normal language comprehension;

(5)
