BYDEnergy Storage Signs 600MW/2.4GWh Energy Storage Project in Poland

During an investor survey, BYD announced that BYD Energy Storage has signed a cooperation agreement with Greenvolt Power to jointly develop the Siedlce energy storage project in Poland. With a total capacity of 600MW/2.4GWh, the project will become the largest battery energy storage system (BESS) in Poland upon completion. BYD Energy Storage will provide its leading BYD Haohan energy storage system for this project, featuring the world’s largest 2710Ah Blade Battery specifically designed for energy storage applications.

CSPC and AstraZeneca Reach Global Collaboration on Small Nucleic Acid Drugs

CSPC announced that the company has entered into a collaboration, option, and license agreement with AstraZeneca, under which both parties will jointly develop small interfering RNA (siRNA) candidate drugs targeting two kidney disease-related targets. Under the terms of the agreement, CSPC will receive an upfront payment of USD 30 million and is eligible to receive up to USD 540 million in research and development milestone payments, up to USD 1.2 billion in sales milestone payments, as well as tiered royalties based on product sales. AstraZeneca holds the option to obtain exclusive global or ex-China rights for the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of the relevant products.

JD.com's Acquisition of Germany's Ceconomy Receives Conditional Approval

According to Global Times, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy has recently approved JD.com’s €2.2 billion acquisition of Ceconomy, a German consumer electronics retail group, subject to conditions including data security safeguards. Under the German government’s requirements, JD.com must ensure the protection of personal data of Ceconomy’s customers in Germany. Furthermore, the German government has secured extensive oversight and control rights, retaining the authority to revoke the approval should any violations occur in the future.

Jinko Energy Storage Signs 400 MWh Energy Storage Project in Eastern Europe

JinkoSolarJinko Storage, a subsidiary, announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with clean energy developer Taliva Energy during the Intersolar Europe exhibition in Munich, Germany. The two parties will collaborate to construct large-scale energy storage system projects with a total capacity of 400 MWh in Eastern Europe.
