Ruijian Medicine Completes RMB 260 Million Series C+ Financing Round

On July 2, iRegene Therapeutics announced the completion of its C+ round financing, raising RMB 260 million. This round was led by Chengdu Science and Technology Innovation Investment Group, with participation from CITIC Capital, Wuxi Venture Capital Group, Dingtai Star, Xinjiye, and Hony Capital, among others. Existing shareholders Yuanxi Haihe and GSR United Runpuyuanfeng continued to increase their investments. According to the press release, iRegene Therapeutics had already completed a RMB 210 million financing in early June 2026, achieving two consecutive rounds of funding within a short period.

iRegene Therapeutics focuses on Parkinson’s disease, retinal degenerative diseases, and metabolic decline. The company is advancing multiple pipeline candidates through clinical development simultaneously in China and the United States. Its flagship candidate, NouvNeu001, is an off-the-shelf induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived dopaminergic neural precursor cell therapy for Parkinson’s disease.Has been granted Fast Track Designation (FTD) and Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) designation by the FDA.

In addition to NouvNeu001, iRegene Therapeutics has targetedMultiple System AtrophyThe NouvNeu004 program and the ophthalmology-focused NouvSight series pipeline are also advancing steadily, gradually evolving from a single-product focus into a diversified portfolio of clinical-stage assets. Notably, NouvNeu004 has entered clinical development, signifying that the company has established the capability to expand from Parkinson’s disease into adjacent indications within the field of neurodegenerative disorders.
