Beidaihe Beike Hospital Opens with China's First Shared Cell Intelligent Manufacturing Platform

Recently, Beike Beidaihe Hospital, located in the Beidaihe Life Science Park, officially opened its doors. Simultaneously, Beike BioTechnology launched China’s first intelligent cell manufacturing shared platform. This milestone marks a crucial step toward the deep integration of intelligent cell manufacturing and clinical diagnosis and treatment in China, injecting new momentum into the standardized and high-quality development of the cellular medicine industry.

As a specialized cell therapy hospital invested by Beike BioTechnology with over RMB 50 million in the Beidaihe New Area, Beidaihe Beike Hospital commenced construction in December 2025, simultaneously with the intelligent cell manufacturing platform. The hospital focuses on clinical research and translational applications of cell therapies, while also establishing conventional departments including internal medicine, surgery, and medical laboratory services, equipped with high-end diagnostic and therapeutic devices from both domestic and international sources. Positioned as an “integrated life health platform for research, diagnosis, and service,” the project closely combines basic medical care, health consultation, and clinical research and application of cell therapies, aiming to comprehensively meet patients’ clinical and health management needs through technological innovation.

The cell intelligent manufacturing platform, launched in conjunction with the hospital, focuses on addressing industry pain points in cell preparation. By integrating automated equipment systems, digital management platforms, quality control systems, and GMP-standard management expertise, the platform drives a comprehensive upgrade from traditional manual operations to automation, intelligence, and digitalization. Through establishing a new model of closed, standardized, and intelligent unmanned cell preparation, the platform achieves high-throughput production, consistent product quality, and full-process traceability for cell products. This systematically reduces the overall costs associated with production, compliance, and operations for cell therapy companies and medical institutions, thereby enhancing translation efficiency.

The commissioning of Beidaihe Beike Hospital and the Intelligent Cell Manufacturing Platform represents a concrete initiative to actively respond to and implement national development plans for life, health, and strategic emerging industries. As China’s earliest national high-tech enterprise specializing in the clinical translation and technical services of biotherapeutic technologies within strategic emerging industries, Beike BioTechnology has established a nationwide system comprising “Comprehensive Cell Banks + Regional Cell Preparation Centers,” covering South, East, Southwest, Northwest, North, and Northeast China.
