Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing Inspects BrainCo, Highlighting Innovation and Quality Amid IPO Filing

Hangzhou, June 27 (Xinhua) — Zhang Guoqing, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, conducted research in Zhejiang Province from June 25 to 27 on the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, as well as quality and brand management. He emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping, carry out the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, strengthen the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, comprehensively enhance quality management, increase the supply of high-quality products and services, continuously shape new drivers and advantages for development, and provide strong support for consolidating and expanding the steady and positive momentum of economic growth.

In Hangzhou and Yiwu, Zhang Guoqing visited enterprises such as BrainCo (Zhejiang Qiangnao Technology Co., Ltd.), Hangzhou Yunshenchu Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Zhenai Carpet Industry Technology Co., Ltd., to gain a detailed understanding of their production and operations, R&D innovation, and digital-intelligence empowerment. He emphasized that enterprises are a vital force in driving innovation and creativity. It is essential to reinforce the primary role of enterprises in innovation, support increased investment in basic research, persistently deepen original innovation in frontier fields, accelerate breakthroughs in core technological bottlenecks, enhance corporate technical capabilities, and solidify advantages for industrial development. Efforts should be made to deepen and expand the “Artificial Intelligence Plus” initiative, guided by scenario-based applications, to strengthen the technological foundation comprising computing power, algorithms, and data; accelerate the cultivation of industry-specific vertical models; create more high-level intelligent agents; promote the empowerment of new-type industrialization through artificial intelligence; and continuously foster new quality productive forces. Furthermore, it is necessary to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, strengthen the guiding role of standard enhancement, accelerate technological upgrades and the elimination of outdated, low-efficiency equipment and processes, facilitate the intelligent, green, and integrated development of industries, and consolidate and enhance the competitiveness of traditional industries.

Zhang Guoqing also visited the Yiwu International Trade City to investigate the quality and brand management of the “Yiwu Small Commodity Market” and the daily supervision of e-commerce platforms. He emphasized the need to uphold quality first and compete through quality, enhance the quality of R&D design and manufacturing, promote the application of new technologies, processes, and materials, and facilitate product diversification and quality upgrading. Enterprises should be encouraged to establish brand development and management systems, create premium and renowned brands through innovation in technology, products, and services, and strengthen capabilities in brand design, market promotion, and brand maintenance. Illegal activities such as brand counterfeiting and trademark infringement must be severely cracked down on in accordance with the law to create a favorable environment for the development of high-quality brands. The role of platform enterprises in promoting innovation, driving development, creating jobs, and enhancing international competitiveness should be fully leveraged to stimulate the endogenous motivation of business operators and workers within these platforms, thereby increasing the supply of high-quality products and services.
