Guangdong Releases Special Plan for Brain-Computer Interfaces, Pushing for Inclusion in Medical Insurance; 13 Related Concept Stocks Received Institutional Research This Year, with Some Share Prices Under Pressure.
On June 26, Guangdong Province recently issued the "Action Plan for the Coordinated Development of Brain-Computer Interface Technology and Industry (2026–2030)," explicitly promoting the inclusion of brain-computer interface technology in the medical insurance system and fostering deep integration between artificial intelligence and the industrial chain. In 2026, brain-computer interfaces were included in the Government Work Report for the first time, listed as one of the six future industries. Previously, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shandong had introduced special policies in 2025, with Jiangsu and Tianjin following suit this year.
