With over 20 years of experience in clinical trials, he served as a senior executive at a major pharmaceutical group after joining the industry, where he was responsible for the clinical development of new drugs. His portfolio encompassed small molecules, large molecules, and cell and gene therapies, including multiple internationally innovative drugs, dual-filed projects in China and the United States, and the world’s first project for a new indication. To date, ten drugs have been approved for market launch. He has extensive successful experience guiding products from conception, development, and clinical trials to commercialization. He has overseen more than 100 new drug clinical trials, including projects supported by China’s National Science and Technology Support Programs during the 11th to 13th Five-Year Plan periods, Major National Science and Technology Projects, National Awards for Major Scientific and Technological Achievements, and grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
