On October 15, Chamlion Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement with GPAINNOVA, a global expert in metal surface treatment. Chamlion Technology will become GPAINNOVA’s exclusive strategic partner in the field of dentistry in China. The two parties will establish a joint venture in China to jointly develop and promote surface treatment technologies for metal dental products. Wang Zhitao, CEO of Chamlion Technology, and Pau Sarsanedas, CEO and Co-founder of GPAINNOVA, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies. This collaboration will leverage the technological and resource advantages of both parties to provide the dental industry with more efficient, higher-quality, safe, and reliable metal surface optimization solutions, jointly accelerating the digital intelligent manufacturing of the dental industry.

During the production of dentures, polishing and grinding are critical processes that directly impact the wearing comfort for end-users. Traditional denture manufacturing relies on manual polishing and grinding, which is not only inefficient but also poses drawbacks such as incomplete polishing and health hazards from dust generated during grinding. The quality of polishing is highly dependent on the skills of manual technicians, leading to inconsistent quality due to individual variations. Moreover, cultivating a skilled manual technician requires several years, entailing significant time and labor costs.

GPAINNOVA pioneered the globally patented DryLyte dry electropolishing technology, a disruptive solution for metal surface treatment in the dental industry. This technology provides comprehensive coverage of denture metal surfaces, reaching corners and internal cavities that are difficult to access with traditional mechanical and manual methods. Compared to conventional manual processing, DryLyte polishing enables full automation, simplifies processing steps, replaces labor-intensive manual work, and achieves grinding and polishing in a single step with superior results. Furthermore, unlike traditional plasma polishing machines, DLyte does not require a closed-loop water system or sludge waste treatment equipment, thereby saving space and labor costs while being more environmentally friendly.
