To address these three major challenges, Director Wu Jian’s team achieved three technological breakthroughs: First, they proposed a segmentation network based on dual-scale learning and selective transfer learning to augment and balance datasets. Second, they developed a deep self-paced active learning-based segmentation framework to enable efficient utilization of annotations. Third, they established a multi-phase segmentation and multi-modal fusion classification model to improve classification performance for cases with low discriminability, while employing a fully 3D cascaded segmentation model to enhance segmentation accuracy for cases with low discriminability.
