Internet Medical and Health Service Platform Provider
From November 5 to 10, the 6th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the CIIE) was held in Shanghai. As one of the most attractive exhibition areas at this year’s event, the Medical Devices and Healthcare Products section gathered ten global leading medical device companies and ten Fortune Global 500 pharmaceutical enterprises, showcasing cutting-edge medical and pharmaceutical products, advanced technologies, and services from around the world. With the continuous expansion of the CIIE, an increasing number of foreign-invested enterprises are eager to leverage this platform to accelerate their integration into the Chinese market.
At previous China International Import Expos (CIIE), JD Health leveraged its strengths and resources in pharmaceutical and healthcare supply chains as well as medical and health services to establish extensive collaborations with numerous global pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. During this year’s CIIE, JD Health further partnered with leading global pharmaceutical and healthcare enterprises—including AstraZeneca, Haleon, Organon, Pfizer, Takeda, and AbbVie—reaching broad consensus on enhancing omni-channel pharmaceutical supply chain systems, improving the efficiency of medical and health services, and jointly building a digital and intelligent ecosystem across the industry chain. The depth and breadth of these collaborations have continued to expand, with all parties committed to jointly promoting the transformation and upgrading of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Strengthening Omni-Channel Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Construction to Meet Users' Full Lifecycle Needs
Currently, the market landscape of China’s healthcare industry is undergoing profound changes. As measures such as centralized drug procurement continue to be implemented, many pharmaceutical companies are under pressure during their transition period. On the other hand, the public’s growing attention to health, coupled with the accelerating pace of population aging in China, has given rise to more personalized and diverse health needs. Against this backdrop, numerous global pharmaceutical and healthcare brands are partnering with JD Health to explore new avenues for growth through omnichannel strategies.

JD Health and AstraZeneca Sign Agreement for AI-Driven Digital Diagnosis of Online Patients at the CIIE
During the China International Import Expo, JD Health and AstraZeneca launched an online AI-driven patient diagnosis project and reached an agreement to co-establish a diagnosis and treatment center. The two parties will deepen their cooperation in the management of the “three highs” (hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia) by building an online MMC (Metabolic Management Center). In the respiratory field, they will integrate the “Kesou” mini-program, which is based on algorithms for online assessment of respiratory disease risks, into respiratory centers. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca announced a strategic partnership with JD Health in the fields of respiratory and immunology products, leveraging their respective strengths to further improve the accessibility of related products and benefit more patients.

In recent years, JD Health’s self-operated flagship store has played a pivotal role in helping pharmaceutical brands expand their market presence and gain insights into consumer needs, becoming a standard requirement for global pharmaceutical brands to enter the online marketplace. During this year’s China International Import Expo (CIIE), the Organon Pharmaceutical JD Health Self-Operated Flagship Store was officially launched. Both parties will fully leverage their respective resource advantages, centering on patient needs, to provide chronic disease patients with comprehensive, full-scenario health management services covering the entire medical care process—including patient education, disease management, and medication delivery—while jointly exploring the creation of a benchmark disease care center.

At this CIIE, JD Health also reached a strategic cooperation consensus with AbbVie. The two parties will expand collaboration in areas such as new drug launches, chronic disease management, and patient education, and leverage digital tools to comprehensively enhance the accessibility of AbbVie’s medications and pharmaceutical services, thereby benefiting more patients.
To date, JD Health has advanced multiple in-depth collaborations with numerous multinational pharmaceutical companies to enhance its omni-channel pharmaceutical supply chain, with many brand partners choosing JD Health as the “premier online launch platform for new drugs.” Leveraging its comprehensive pharmaceutical product supply capabilities, one-stop medical and health services, and digital marketing capabilities that cover the entire drug lifecycle, JD Health has become the preferred partnership platform for global pharmaceutical brands seeking omnichannel growth.
Continuously Driving Innovation in Online Medical Service Models and Enhancing the One-Stop “Pharmaceuticals + Services” Experience
Service innovation has also been a key focus of every edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE). In the healthcare industry, service innovation has become a significant driving force for adapting to the demands of the new era and enhancing the overall standards of the sector. In recent years, JD Health has continuously optimized the user experience of its medical service products, establishing itself as the leading and trusted online portal for safe and reliable telemedicine. At the CIIE, JD Health and Pfizer Establish China’s First Internet Hospital Headache Center
At this year’s China International Import Expo (CIIE), JD Health partnered with global pharmaceutical giant Pfizer to establish China’s first online migraine center. This initiative creates an integrated “medical–pharmaceutical–management” pathway for headache patients, encompassing “online self-assessment, lightweight physician consultation, offline clinical visit, medication supply, and long-term online services,” aiming to address the current low rate of offline medical consultations for this condition. The two parties will also actively explore innovative market access, innovative payment mechanisms, and novel commercial insurance models to meet the diverse needs of migraine patients for remote consultation and pharmacological treatment without leaving their homes.
JD Health is also a key partner of Merck & Co., Inc. (known as MSD outside the United States and Canada), a globally renowned pharmaceutical company. During the China International Import Expo (CIIE), JD Health was invited to participate in the “Merck’s Diabetes Talk” expert cloud-sharing roundtable forum. Currently, in the upstream segment of diabetes management, JD Health has built an integrated collaborative ecosystem encompassing categories such as prescription medications for diabetes, medical devices, and consumables. In the midstream service sector, JD Health has established a service system for both physicians and patients through its internet hospital platform. For downstream end-users, JD Health leverages technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence to achieve precise matching between doctors and patients. Working hand in hand with partners including Merck, JD Health is providing more convenient and professional health management solutions for chronic disease populations, including patients with diabetes.
Currently, JD Health is actively leveraging advanced digital and intelligent technologies to explore innovations in healthcare service models. As a platform for innovative collaboration, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) is accelerating the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector’s development of a digital-intelligent industrial ecosystem. Leveraging the CIIE as an opportunity, JD Health has expanded its partnerships with pharmaceutical companies beyond mere drug sales, utilizing its supply chain advantages and robust digital-intelligent capabilities to elevate its focus toward innovation in disease management and holistic health ecosystem services.
