Hisense Medical Accelerates Domestic Substitution with Launch of High-End Intelligent Ultrasound System HD70

In November, the 23rd National Ultrasound Medicine Academic Conference of the Chinese Medical Association, the largest-scale national academic conference on ultrasound medicine, and the “Friendly Shandong, Premium Products from Shandong” 2023 Beijing Promotion Event were held in Haikou and Beijing, respectively. Although separated by a straight-line distance of approximately 2,600 kilometers between north and south, these two events nearly simultaneously hosted the high-tech debut of a domestically produced medical device: Hisense’s new high-end intelligent ultrasound system, the HD70, was officially unveiled to the public.

“Since the launch of the HD60 series, R&D on the HD70 was initiated concurrently. After three years of development, we successfully obtained the registration certificate issued by the Provincial Medical Products Administration this year, approving its market release,” introduced Gao Chenghang, Head of the Ultrasound Marketing Department at Hisense Medical. The HD70 adopts a new-generation “Wide-Area” ultrasound platform, equipped with a novel GPU architecture. Its hardware, core system pathways, and logic systems have been entirely redesigned, achieving a transformation from hardware-based to software-based beamforming. This has led to an exponential increase in the computing power and speed of the ultrasound equipment, resulting in improved full-field uniformity and spatial resolution for images, which significantly enhances the quality and precision of various advanced imaging functions.

The HD70 product features numerous intelligent measurement capabilities, such as automatic measurement of carotid intima-media thickness, amniotic fluid index, bladder volume, and cardiac function. A distinctive feature of the Hisense HD70 is its automatic measurement of uterine fibroids, which enables young physicians to rapidly and automatically measure multiple uterine fibroids, thereby enhancing measurement accuracy and further improving work efficiency.

At the National Ultrasound Medicine Academic Conference, Professor Liang Ping, Chair of the Ultrasound Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, along with leading experts from across China, visited the Hisense booth. After observing the functional features of the HD70 series intelligent ultrasound system and reviewing Hisense’s ultrasound-guided interventional therapy solutions, Professor Liang stated, “We must support national brands like Hisense!”
