Kesl Medical and Aim Vaccine Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement in Beijing to Pioneer a New Era of Needle-Free Vaccine Delivery

On December 4, Beijing Kuaishu'er Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Kuaishu'er Medical”) and AIM Vaccine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “AIM Vaccine”) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.

This strategic cooperation agreement was signed by Mr. Zhang Yuxin, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Kuaishu'er Medical, and Mr. Zhou Yan, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of AIM Vaccine. Relevant officials from the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area’s special task force for the biotechnology and big health industry witnessed the signing ceremony. The execution of this agreement marks the formal launch of multi-faceted, comprehensive collaboration between Kuaishu'er Medical and AIM Vaccine. This partnership not only represents a complementary alliance between two leading enterprises in their respective fields but also serves as a new highlight in the Beijing E-Town’s initiative to build a globally recognized pharmaceutical and health industry brand with distinct Yizhuang characteristics.

AIM Vaccine is a large, privately-owned vaccine group in China with a fully integrated industrial chain. Its business spans the entire industry value chain, from research and development (R&D) to manufacturing and commercialization. In 2020, it achieved batch release volumes of approximately 60 million doses, enabling the sales of its vaccine products across all 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government in China. Currently, the company has eight commercially available vaccines targeting six disease areas, as well as 23 innovative vaccine candidates in development for 13 disease areas. Its portfolio of products under production and in development covers all of the top ten vaccines globally by sales revenue in 2020.

Kuaishu'er Medical is a global leader in needle-free drug delivery systems, specializing in the development of needle-free administration technologies that enable precise intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular drug delivery. The company has obtained registration approvals from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for needle-free injection of various drugs and operates the world’s largest and most comprehensive automated production line for needle-free injection devices. Its manufacturing system is certified under ISO 13485 and the European Union CE mark. Kuaishu'er Medical holds dozens of domestic and international patents, including 10 PCT international patents, and is recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise as well as a Beijing “Specialized, Refined, Differential, and Innovative” SME.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Zhou Yan, Chairman of the Board of AIM Vaccine, pointed out that industry development and market expansion both require proactive collaboration, a willingness to experiment, and cross-disciplinary thinking; the partnership between the two parties aligns with this philosophy.

Mr. Zhang Fan, Vice President and Chief Research Officer of AIM Vaccine, stated that both collaborating parties are leading enterprises in their respective fields and integrated companies encompassing R&D, production, and sales, thus establishing a solid foundation for cooperation. The safety of needle-free drug delivery technology can effectively mitigate or reduce local and even systemic adverse reactions. Combination products integrating vaccines with needle-free drug delivery devices can effectively drive technological innovation within the industry.

Mr. Zhang Yuxin, Chairman of Kuaishu'er Medical, expressed high expectations for the collaboration between the two parties.
