Introduction: On January 31, 2015, the “reMED 2015—Reconstructing the Healthcare Ecosystem” Summit, hosted by the Internet Healthcare China Conference of Communication University of China, will grandly open at the CUC International Exchange Center in Beijing.

2014 was a watershed year for the explosive growth of internet healthcare. With continuous capital inflows and strategic moves by internet giants, the internet and mobile internet are deeply penetrating traditional healthcare in an irreversible trend. The era of restructuring and transformation in the healthcare industry is upon us!

Seizing this opportunity, the China Internet Healthcare Association of the Communication University of China will host the “reMED 2015—Reconstructing the Healthcare Ecosystem” Summit Forum at the CUC International Exchange Center on January 31, 2015. It is reported that this summit also serves as the inaugural conference for the establishment of the “China Internet Healthcare Association.”

At this summit, 17 flagship entrepreneurs from fields such as hospital informatization, health cloud management, wearable devices, mobile healthcare, pharmaceutical e-commerce, health big data, internet hospitals, genomics and life sciences, and stem cells and biotechnology will present the industry with an intellectual feast on cross-industry collision and integration.

The summit aims to delve into the transformation trends of China’s traditional healthcare sector and its future service landscape, with a view to presenting holistic new development concepts to practitioners and entrepreneurs in both traditional hospitals and internet-based healthcare.

On the Internet Healthcare China Conference
“China Internet Healthcare Council” is a significant initiative by the Communication University of China (Institute of Internet Information), an authoritative think tank in the national internet information sector, to actively explore the cross-sector integration of the internet with traditional industries. Initiated by the University President and co-founded by 14 leading figures from the industry, the platform aims to lead the innovative development of China’s mobile health sector.
