Proportion of Respondents Who Identified Data Analytics as One of the Top Three Priorities for Their Healthcare InstitutionsThe adoption of data analysis methods is poised for takeoff.• Healthcare institutions that have been more proactive in data analytics have implemented robust measures, such as increasing investment to improve data collection methods, expanding data storage capacity, and innovating data analysis techniques. Many institutions have developed detailed investment plans targeting these areas;
• Many institutions have already reaped the benefits of data analytics in clinical care (improving patient outcomes, 82%) and administrative management (enhancing financial reporting, 54%);
• 65% of organizations stated that their investment in data analytics would continue to increase in 2015.
