Four months later, StartUp Health announced the addition of 12 more digital health startups, bringing the total number of affiliated companies to 102. The newly added companies span diverse sectors, including telemedicine, patient management, social health, nutrition, and diagnostics. They are geographically distributed across the globe, with presence in cities such as Dubai, Tel Aviv, Austin, Boston, and New York City. Their products are primarily designed to provide solutions for modern health challenges, including elderly care services and strategies for improving access to medical care.

BioClaim – Biomedical Patent Fraud Solution
Phil Homburger and Scott Kimmel, co-founders of the company, are rescuing payments from fraudulent medical reimbursements that amount to billions of dollars annually. BioClaim connects providers’ front offices with payers in real time and can be integrated into electronic health records, thereby protecting patients and hospitals from medical identity theft.
BreathResearch – A Cardiopulmonary Testing Platform Anytime, Anywhere
Nirinjan Yee, the company’s founder, is passionate about helping people maintain healthy hearts and lungs. Leveraging her BreathResearch technology, she enables users to test and monitor their cardiopulmonary function anytime and anywhere using just headphones, eliminating the need for bulky and expensive cardiopulmonary equipment.
Dotri – Redefining Physical Therapy
Dotri is dedicated to enabling physical therapy patients to undergo treatment and manage their care from the comfort of their homes. The company’s co-founders—Dr. Rohan Loveland, Maria Schneider, Dr. Prashant Jain, and Alex MacDonnell—jointly developed a platform that leverages smartphone sensors to record electromyographic (EMG) biofeedback and track the details and efficacy of remote physical therapy sessions.
HealthTour – Making Medical Travel Safer and Easier
HealthTour’s Paramount Medical is an international hub for medical tourism, providing patients in need with better access to overseas medical resources. The company’s co-founders, Kursat Ozel and Eser Yogurtcu, have signed service agreements with 50 clinics and offer convenient package services to customers.
Jojnts – Evidence-Based Treatment Protocol for Internet Joints
Through internet-based evidence-backed treatment plans, Jojnts is transforming the landscape of osteoarthritis care. The company’s co-founders—Jakob Dahlberg, Leif Dahlberg, and Dr. Carina Thorstensson—have tested their monitoring and treatment platform on more than 40,000 patients, with 85% of users experiencing significant improvement after six weeks of treatment.
MedXCom – Bringing Night Call Technology into the 21st Century
The company’s co-founders—Henry Kane, Dr. Annette Nusbaum, Dr. Michael Nusbaum, and Dr. Michael Rothkopf—are developing an enhanced nighttime communication platform. Guided by the mission “built by physicians, for physicians,” MedXCom replaces traditional nighttime switchboard operators with a hybrid voice-and-text system.
Pregistry – Ensuring Maternal Safety Through Data
Pregistry is dedicated to protecting women by evaluating the safety of prescription drugs and vaccines used during pregnancy and lactation. The company’s co-founders, Diego Wyszynski and Kristine Shields, leverage their extensive pharmaceutical expertise to provide authoritative information on product safety to pharmaceutical companies.
PsyInnovations – Mental Health Services at Your Fingertips
The company’s co-founders, Ritvik Singh, Dr. Navya Singh, and Stan Miroshnikov, are dedicated to alleviating patients’ daily stress and anxiety. PsyInnovation’s wayForward product was developed in part with the involvement of clinical psychologists; it offers algorithm-based therapy supplemented by real-time guidance from therapists, at a fraction of the cost of traditional treatment.
Room2Care – Shared, Affordable Elderly Care Services
Room2Care aims to improve the existing elderly care market. Co-founders Dr. Todd Florin and Richard Ashenoff II have created an online marketplace that enables elderly patients to live in multi-generational households. Through this shared elderly care service, Room2Care costs only half as much as traditional elderly care facilities while granting users greater autonomy.
Skindroid – Smart Skin Biosensors for Wearable Devices
The company’s co-founders, Dr. Somair Riaz and Dr. Winston Capel, are bringing a new generation of wearable devices to athletes and health-product consumers. Leveraging their backgrounds in neurosurgery and software development, their team uses biosensors to detect and measure biomolecules on the user’s skin, issuing alerts before electrolyte depletion and muscle breakdown occur.
Stethos – An Internet-Integrated Stethoscope
The Stethos smart stethoscope provides suppliers with high-quality diagnostic and teaching tools. The company’s co-founders, Dr. Joseph Habbouse, Dr. Aman Aminzay, and Jason Simeral, are leveraging their medical and entrepreneurial expertise to develop a smart stethoscope featuring superior sound fidelity and seamless integration with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Virtual Viewbox – Medical Collaboration and Interoperability Platform
Serial entrepreneur Dr. Douglas Smith is dedicated to fostering collaboration between healthcare providers and forensic attorneys. His platform enables both parties to legally access electronic health records, facilitating collaboration on treatment plans and building networks with other medical and legal professionals.
