Diabetes is a chronic disease that poses a severe threat to human health. Data indicates that there are approximately 100 million diabetes patients in China. Once diagnosed, patients face a significant economic burden. Statistics show that between 1993 and 2007, total medical expenditures for diabetes in China rose from RMB 200 billion to RMB 221.6 billion. The proportion of direct medical costs for diabetes in total health expenditure increased from 1.96% to 18.2%, representing an eightfold increase over 15 years. Diabetes has become one of the chronic diseases with the fastest-growing treatment costs. Self-monitoring of blood glucose using professional glucose management software and testing devices helps control the condition and reduce complications. Kangxun 360 is a mobile application designed to help diabetic users manage their blood glucose levels. By connecting with glucose meters, it enables users to achieve scientific, standardized, and intelligent self-management.

How to Use Kangxun 360?
First, let’s take a look at the basic information of the Kangxun 360 Smart Blood Glucose Meter. As indicated on the packaging, this glucose meter comes with a built-in display, allowing it to be used independently of a smartphone. This ensures that users can still perform blood glucose measurements normally even when it is inconvenient for them to use their mobile phones.
Upon opening the packaging box, the contents are divided into two parts: the main unit and the accessory kit. The body of the blood glucose meter features a rounded rectangular design, with a display screen and two physical buttons on the front. On one side is the test strip ejection slider, and on the other side is the USB charging port.
At the top of the Kangxun 360 Smart Glucometer, there is a slot for inserting test strips. The test strips included in the accessory kit are model G-430S from Aiolle, capable of measuring blood glucose levels within 5 seconds. Other accessories include a lancing device, a pack of lancets, and a USB charging cable.
Having introduced the hardware, we now move on to the hands-on experience with this smart home medical device. First, install the companion app for the Hao Kangxun 360 Smart Blood Glucose Meter on your smartphone, open it to connect to the glucometer, and ensure your phone remains connected to the internet.
Remove the test strip and insert it into the glucometer in the direction indicated by the markings; the glucometer will power on automatically. Next, remove the cap from the lancet, insert the lancet into the lancing device, and replace the cap. Rotate the cap to select an appropriate puncture depth; a medium setting is generally recommended. For the final step, align the tip of the lancing device with your fingertip and press the release button. The lancet will then swiftly puncture and withdraw from your fingertip.
After pricking the fingertip, some users may find that blood does not flow out. In such cases, do not rush to squeeze the fingertip. Instead, relax your finger and allow blood flow to return to normal for a few tens of seconds before gently squeezing; this will enable successful blood collection. Next, simply bring the blood drop into contact with the capillary inlet at the tip of the test strip. The blood will be automatically drawn into the strip via capillary action.
At this point, the Kangxun 360 Smart Blood Glucose Meter will emit an audible alert. After a 5-second wait, your blood glucose reading will appear on the display and sync to the mobile app. You can then open the app to view the test results.
If you have any questions about your measured blood glucose levels, you can also consult with online physicians.
The interface of Kangxun 360 comprises four sections: Home, Discover, Topics, and Center. The Home page offers functionalities such as blood glucose monitoring, dietary consultation, health step counting, and communication with doctors. The "Discover" section presents users with news and popular science articles related to diabetes. Additionally, all user data is aggregated in the "Personal Center" section.
The image above displays the interfaces for the pedometer and "Ask a Doctor" features. Within the "Ask a Doctor" feature, users can consult with physicians (after adding them as friends) regarding their personal data, using either text or images during the consultation.
