Health IoT and End-Cloud Interaction: 2015 Health Management Summit

Aug 11, 2015 17:12 CST Updated 17:12

The era of “Internet + Health Management” is dawning. The traditional ecosystem is undergoing transformation, with more institutions entering the health management sector. In addition to existing physical examination centers, chronic disease management providers, and medical rehabilitation institutions, internet companies represented by BAT giants are also joining the field. While it remains uncertain who will dominate the future landscape of health management, this evolution will undoubtedly make health management smarter, more convenient, and more effective.

The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile internet, big data, and cloud computing platforms has empowered health management with intelligent capabilities. This enables long-term tracking and real-time monitoring, facilitates the acquisition of more comprehensive data, allows for more accurate health assessments, and supports timely health interventions, ultimately delivering personalized health management services to the general public.

Therefore, the 2015 Health Management Summit will center on the theme of “Health IoT and Device-Cloud Interaction,” focusing on the integration of the “hardware” aspects of the Internet of Things with the “software” dimensions of the Internet. By leveraging big data management and analytics to enable device-cloud interaction, the summit aims to explore pathways for addressing key challenges in health management, such as improving operational efficiency and optimizing cloud-based processing.
