Only those with firsthand experience can truly understand and appreciate the industry’s future trajectory, opportunities, and pitfalls. Therefore, Chunfeng Ventures could only have been launched by Chunyu Doctor.” Bi Lei noted that Chunyu Doctor’s four years of entrepreneurial experience have enabled him to develop unique investment perspectives in the mobile healthcare sector. Furthermore, the user base, physician network, industry connections, and government resources accumulated by Chunyu over these four years can be leveraged to support portfolio companies, helping them scale up rapidly.

As for the rationale behind establishing Chunfeng Venture Capital, Bi Lei cited four key reasons: to help serial entrepreneurs realize their dreams through Chunfeng Venture Capital; to build future-oriented stakeholder relationships via equity ties; to reduce costs and validate business models through resource sharing; and to avoid entrepreneurial pitfalls and optimize resource utilization by leveraging experiential guidance.

Chunfeng Venture Capital focuses on innovative sectors including smart hardware, surgical centers, physician groups, private clinics, convenience store clinics, pharmacy-based clinics, online diagnostics, intelligent assistance, chronic disease management, cross-border healthcare, rural markets, and the elderly population.

At the press conference, three projects were unveiled in the first phase. The first is Chunyu International Healthcare, which aims to transform cross-border healthcare from a high-end service into an affordable option for the general public. Xiong Juan, CEO of Chunyu International Healthcare, stated that a key feature of the company is its low pricing, with 80% of its service products priced under RMB 50,000. Moreover, Chunyu International Healthcare is preparing to establish its own international clinics in China and will introduce advanced international concepts in rehabilitation management and training mechanisms. Chunyu International Healthcare primarily offers two major services: online remote consultations and offline cross-border treatment. It has currently contracted with more than 2,000 doctors from over 30 hospitals worldwide. Through online video and telephone consultations, it provides diagnostic and treatment opinions for more than 50 types of diseases, including heart disease, cancer, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disorders. Offline, users can access cross-border treatment services such as medical aesthetics and major disease treatment in eight countries, including the United States, Japan, Germany, South Korea, and Australia. The target demographic for its services is individuals aged 35 to 50. Chunyu International Healthcare’s revenue model consists of 20% consultation fees, 30% dividends, and 50% service fees.

The second initiative is the Smart Medicine Box project. The Smart Medicine Box aims to improve medication adherence among patients with chronic diseases through hardware solutions, thereby reducing the costs associated with complications arising from poor adherence. Wang Jing, founder of the Smart Medicine Box, stated, “This product offers three key features. First, medication monitoring: leveraging sensor technology, it tracks all medication-related activities, including intake and retrieval, during use of the medicine box. These data are then transmitted to cloud servers to provide robust data support for physicians in the future. The second feature is scheduled reminders. The third feature is a service call function, internally referred to as ‘One-Touch Call.’”

The third project is Living Room Healthcare. Chunfeng Venture Capital believes that Living Room Healthcare is venturing into the blue ocean of the home health and medical sector, and Chunfeng is optimistic about its future core concept that “the living room will be the primary scenario for future healthcare.” Xie Cheng, the founder of Living Room Healthcare, stated that Living Room Healthcare is not simply porting a mobile app to the TV, but rather creating a home health and medical center on the television. Currently, version 4.0 of the product has been launched on Xiaomi TVs. The Living Room Healthcare product mainly consists of four modules: health education (videos + news), online consultation and diagnosis, device data management, and a family social circle. Its target user groups primarily include the elderly, women and children, as well as individuals requiring long-term rehabilitation and nursing care.

It is reported that the products of these three projects are nearing completion, and Chunyu International Medical has already generated revenue within just one month of its establishment. Li Xiaomin, a partner at Chunfeng Venture Capital, stated that as an investor, Chunfeng Venture Capital will also provide comprehensive project mentoring to help portfolio companies address their weaknesses. “From the Media Club to the Industry Mentor Group, Chunfeng will offer all-around support to its invested projects. For projects with high synergy with Chunyu, Chunyu can also directly channel target users to them.”
