Dr. Shi Zhanxiang serves as the China Country Director for Physicians Worldwide and the Principal Investigator for NIH Clinical Research Projects in China. He is the Director of the Special Fund for the School of Clinical and Translational Medicine, established by the Chinese Medical Association and the China International Medical Foundation; he also serves as the Secretary-General and International Cooperation Coordinator for the “China-US International Forum on Clinical and Translational Medicine.”

Served as lead translator and editor for ten reference books in clinical and translational medicine, and established collaborations with international journals such as *Science*, *Nature*, and the *New England Journal of Medicine*. Research interests include clinical and translational medicine, mobile and telemedicine, medical research ethics, and intelligent medical robotics.
