Main Forum Introduction
General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that emphasizing the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is necessary for building a new capital economic circle oriented toward the future and advancing institutional and mechanistic innovations in regional development; it is also essential for leveraging the complementary advantages of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, promoting the development of the Bohai Rim Economic Zone, and driving the development of the vast hinterland in northern China. As such, it constitutes a major national strategy. Telemedicine, as a key measure to integrate healthcare services across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, combines modern medical models with network communication technologies. It not only meets the healthcare service needs of the region but also takes a long-term perspective to effectively and orderly alleviate the excessive concentration of medical resources in large cities, thereby serving as a powerful driver for technological innovation and industrial transformation and upgrading.

During the 2015 "Two Sessions," Premier Li Keqiang introduced the concept of "Internet Plus," which quickly became a hot topic and reignited enthusiasm for mobile health. Emerging technologies such as cloud computing, big data, mobile internet, and the Internet of Things have opened up vast opportunities for the development of mobile health. The internet-based healthcare industry, delivering medical services through telemedicine and wearable portable devices, has gradually expanded. Meanwhile, healthcare institutions, mobile carriers, medical device manufacturers, terminal device makers, and software solution providers are leveraging the internet to participate in the reform and innovation of healthcare delivery models.
“Internet + Healthcare” has become a milestone in the direction of healthcare development.

The 2nd China International Telemedicine Summit will adhere to the conference philosophy of “promoting strategic layout, fostering development, and benefiting public welfare,” featuring six major segments: a high-level forum, capital matchmaking, project and technology demonstration and experience sessions, project roadshows, roundtable discussions, and networking events. To date, the exhibition has confirmed the organization of one opening ceremony, one keynote forum, and seven thematic forums. The grand event is about to commence—stay tuned.
