The financial report encompasses the consolidated financial statements of Alibaba Health, its wholly-owned subsidiary CITIC 21 Century (China) Technology Co., Ltd., and its 50%-owned subsidiary CITIC Guojian Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Revenue from the Electronic Supervision Network business amounted to HK$21,371,000, representing a 14.6% year-on-year increase. The growth was primarily driven by higher income from network access fees charged to retail pharmacies and rising revenue from value-added services.

Selling and marketing expenses amounted to HK$58,516,000, representing an increase of HK$50,967,000 compared with the previous year. Of this amount, marketing expenses totaled HK$20,702,000, primarily used to incentivize downloads of the Ali Health mobile application (Alijk) and to encourage usage of the O2O pharmacy platform. Revenue from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Health Tourism to Reach RMB 300 Billion by 2020

Recently, the China National Tourism Administration and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly issued the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Tourism,” advocating new concepts for TCM health tourism and fostering its sustainable development.

The opinion points out that by 2020, the number of people participating in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) health tourism should reach 3% of the total tourist population, with TCM health tourism revenue reaching RMB 300 billion. Additionally, 30 TCM health tourism demonstration zones and 200 TCM health tourism demonstration enterprises (bases) or integrated complexes should be established nationwide. By 2025, the proportion of tourists engaging in TCM health tourism is expected to rise to 5% of the total tourist population, with revenue reaching RMB 500 billion. Furthermore, 50 TCM health tourism demonstration zones and 500 TCM health tourism demonstration enterprises (bases) or integrated complexes should be established across China.

The opinion also proposes to promote the informatization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) health tourism, establish a comprehensive service platform for TCM health tourism that includes functions such as archival information, medical insurance, travel insurance, and appointment management, and incorporate all resource units and travel agencies into unified management.

National Health and Family Planning Commission: By 2020, Ensure Every Household Has a Contracted Family Doctor

According to the website of the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), the NHFPC and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued guidance stating that by 2020, China will strive to ensure that every household has a qualified contracted physician and every resident has an electronic health record.

The opinion points out that support for information technology should be strengthened. We should promote the use of a "one-card" system for residents' medical visits and make effective use of electronic health records. We should coordinate the construction of information management systems for community health service institutions, further integrating various related business systems such as maternal and child healthcare, family planning, vaccination, infectious disease reporting, and severe mental disorders. Additionally, we should encourage the full utilization of modern information technologies such as mobile internet, smart clients, and instant messaging to enhance doctor-patient interaction and improve residents' experience.
