inticareWearable ECG and Smart Sports Clothing

What was the most captivating attraction at the exhibition? It was the smart clothing fashion show featuring models. According to reports, the Inticare wearable ECG monitor and smart sportswear were developed by Elephant Medical, a subsidiary of the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Elephant Medical is a mobile health company specializing in cardiac health. The new Inticare series comes in two versions: medical and sports. Both versions are compact in size, boast unique designs, and exude a youthful vitality. They connect to a mobile app via Bluetooth. The Inticare medical version, shaped like a bandage, is a wearable ECG monitor that enables continuous 24-hour cardiac monitoring. It also features practical functions such as one-touch alarm and one-touch event marking, making it a life-saving wearable device. The Inticare sports version integrates fabric electrodes into athletic wear to achieve intelligent exercise detection and tracking, and has already been successfully incorporated into sportswear.
SensoriaSmart Sports Socks
Socks are a daily essential for everyone, so savvy merchants have embedded advanced wearable technology into them to significantly increase their usage rate. The Sensoria Smart Running Sock is one such product. Multiple pressure sensors are embedded in the fabric of the sock’s sole, meaning that wearing Sensoria is akin to stepping onto a professional gait analysis track. These sensors transmit data via wires to a U-shaped, detachable processor located on the upper part of the ankle. The Sensoria U-shaped processor not only aggregates all gait and movement data from the sole but also wirelessly transmits this information to the user’s mobile app via Bluetooth. (The editor has one question: How on earth do you wash these socks?)
QuwellPain Relief Therapeutic Device
Quell is an FDA-cleared, physician-recommended, 100% drug-free, medical-grade wearable pain relief device developed by NeuroMetrix, based in Boston, USA. The device is integrated into a breathable, comfortable sports brace, with electrodes located on the back of the unit; once the brace is worn, the electrodes maintain full contact with the skin. When electrical stimulation is applied to the calf, signals from the sensory nerves travel to the brain, which then triggers the spine to release endogenous opioids—key substances that block the transmission of pain signals throughout the body. After the initial use, Quell automatically adjusts to the optimal and most comfortable stimulation intensity for each individual. Clinical trials have demonstrated that the Quell pain relief device is highly effective for pain associated with painful diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia, sciatica, and osteoarthritis, with relief occurring in as little as 15 minutes.
QardioCoreHeart Rate Monitor Strap and QardioArm Blood Pressure Monitor
QardioCore is a heart rate monitor designed for long-term wear. Shaped like a chest strap, it is secured by wrapping it around the chest, and the device is lightweight. Users can wear this chest strap throughout the day to continuously monitor indicators such as electrocardiogram (ECG), heart rate, exercise intensity, and body temperature changes. In addition to its wearable design, QardioCore is paired with a dedicated mobile app that transmits and stores monitoring data in a cloud database, making it convenient for family physicians to access. Qardio’s second product, QardioArm, also made its official debut at CES—a smart blood pressure and heart rate monitor. QardioArm features no buttons, wires, or display screens; it connects wirelessly to smartphone and tablet apps, automatically tracks measurement data, and uploads it to a secure cloud server.
temptraqTemperature Indicator Label
TempTraq, a temperature patch from Blue Spark Technologies, is designed for easy use: simply apply it to the axilla of a sick child to continuously monitor body temperature throughout the day. The device transmits data via Bluetooth to parents’ smartphones and can forward the information to pediatricians as needed. Made from soft, safe, latex-free materials, TempTraq ensures unobtrusive monitoring that allows sick children to sleep peacefully without disturbance. It remains securely in place during activity and is easy to apply and remove.
