This app will be primarily used on the Apple Watch. Designed for iPhone users, this app is named MTBC iRx.
Apple Watch users can browse patient medication refill requests, medication reminders, or physician treatment recommendations, and can also interact with patients. Meanwhile, physicians using this app can, upon authorization, view patients’ prescription refills, issue new prescriptions, review patients’ medication histories, and utilize it as a clinical decision support tool.

“Our users will continue to leverage technology to streamline healthcare processes, optimizing medical outcomes,” said Stephen Schneider, Chairman of MTBC. “Porting our top-rated mobile and web-based applications to smartwatches marks a significant advancement for our platform, and we plan to further extend our platform to smartwatches and other wearable devices in the coming year.”

MTBC’s Apple Watch app is one of its seven latest mobile health applications. Prior to this release, MTBC had launched an ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision) conversion app, which quickly became one of the most popular apps in the Apple App Store after its launch.
