On March 2, 2016, the parenting mobile application “Yuxueyuan,” operated under the Cui Yutao Children’s Health Management Center, held a launch event in Beijing. At the event, it released *The Power of Recording: Yuxueyuan User Parenting Behavior Data Report* (hereinafter referred to as the “Report”) and announced the initiation of its parenting ecosystem development.
The Yuxueyuan App has currently accumulated parenting records from tens of millions of users and gathered over 9,000 questionnaire surveys, on which the Report is based.
“The Report” is divided into two parts: parenting philosophy and parenting behavior. The section on parenting philosophy mainly covers three aspects: the characteristics of the parenting group, their parenting lives, and how they address parenting challenges.
The report shows that when it comes to resolving parenting challenges, mothers primarily turn to parenting apps, WeChat official accounts, and search engines.
Nearly 80% of users frequently use one or two parenting apps.
Nearly half of mothers follow 3–5 WeChat official accounts on parenting.
48.5% of mothers proactively read content from official accounts that interest them on a daily basis.
The section on parenting practices analyzes four aspects: breastfeeding, infant sleep, complementary feeding, and calcium supplementation.
For example, regarding nighttime awakenings, the report shows that 56.1% of babies wake up 1-2 times per night, and 30% wake up 3-5 times per night.
The report also provides a detailed analysis of the impact of feeding methods, sleep-onset routines, sleeping arrangements, and outdoor activities on nighttime awakenings.

Dr. Cui Yutao stated, “The journey toward scientific parenting is long and arduous. This not only reflects my original aspiration in dedicating many years to popularizing children’s health knowledge, but also embodies the founding mission of our Children’s Health Management Center. We hope that an increasing number of mothers will embark on the path of scientific parenting under our science-based education and guidance.”
At the press conference, DR.Cuiyutao Parenting Academy also announced the launch of its parenting ecosystem initiative. Shao Zongzong, CEO of DR.Cuiyutao Children’s Health Management Center, stated that the rollout of DR.Cuiyutao Parenting Academy’s offline clinics has officially begun.
