Recently, Oncology Analytics (OA), a leading provider of oncology care management solutions in the United States, announced that it had secured $7.5 million in financing. The round was led by BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, with participation from Sandbox Advantage Fund. OA stated that the funds would be used to develop new products, attract top-tier talent, and accelerate the company’s growth.
OA Company’s Clinical Decision Support Network System collaborates with a board-certified team of clinical oncology experts to provide real-time expert support to oncologists, ensuring that patients receive accurate and effective treatment while helping them avoid additional costs associated with inadequate initial therapy. OA Company states that it believes this high-quality service can work in synergy with physicians to deliver the most efficient, low-risk, and affordable treatment plans to patients.
In 2009, Dr. Marc Fishman, with over two decades of clinical experience, founded Oncology Analytics. To date, the company’s clinical decision support network system covers more than 2,800 treatment regimens. Notably, Oncology Analytics boasts a highly qualified team of experts composed of oncologists and hematologists who have been certified by its internal committee and have undergone peer review by renowned international academic boards. As such, the team holds significant authority in clinical treatment.
OA has experienced rapid development in recent years, achieving significant success in chemotherapy decision support services. Today, it has expanded its business across all aspects of the oncology field. From basic diagnostic examinations to specialized genetic testing, OA aims to provide optimal chemotherapy and radiotherapy regimens tailored to each patient’s specific clinical needs.
“I am thrilled that Oconology Analytics (OA) has established close partnerships with BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners and Sandbox Advantage Fund,” said Dr. Marc Fishman, Founder and CEO of Oconology Analytics. “This new round of financing will enable OA to attract more high-quality resources and leading industry experts, helping the company continue to expand its business. Most importantly, it will allow us to provide higher-quality, more specialized medical services to cancer patients and those suffering from other conditions.”
On the co-investment side, Dr. Thomas Hawes, General Manager of Sandbox, stated, “We are deeply honored to join forces with Dr. Fishman and other experts from the Oncology Analytics team to fulfill our responsibility and contribute to improving treatment outcomes for all cancer patients in our country. The strategy proposed by Oncology Analytics, which fosters collaboration between multidisciplinary expert teams and clinicians in diagnosis and treatment, has been well received. After all, this is a platform that creates a win-win scenario for patients, physicians, and service providers.”
