VCBeat Learns Exclusively: Nursing Home 360 Secures Nearly RMB 10 Million in Pre-A Round from Puhua CapitalAccording to exclusive information obtained by VCBeat, Nursing Home 360 recently secured a Pre-A financing round of nearly RMB 10 million from Puhua Capital. It is understood that the funds raised in this round will be used to enhance product features, while the company will continue to expand its market presence in East China, North China, and other regions.
Similar to Xingshulin, which focuses on physicians’ professional development and clinical communication and collaboration services, Huli Jia 360 chose from its inception to build a platform in the nursing sector dedicated to nurse-focused tools, nurses’ professional growth, and nursing communication and collaboration.
It is understood that Huli Jia 360, founded in June 2015 and headquartered in Shanghai, is a mobile internet company specializing in professional nursing and health services. Its founding team brings nearly two decades of experience in the medical and nursing industry.
Currently, its app product is divided into two versions: the Nurse Professional Edition and the General Public Edition.
The public-facing version primarily targets patients, providing professional nurse-led transitional care services to patient users. Currently, this business segment is still in its early stages of development, with a strategic focus on developing nursing tools, supporting nurses’ professional growth, and building a platform for nursing communication and collaboration.
Nursing Home 360 Public Version Page
Currently, its mass-market version has established business collaborations with more than 20 hospitals in Shanghai, where nurses can provide patients with nursing services covering maternal and child health, catheter procedures, rehabilitation, and chronic disease management.
The recognition from these hospitals is inseparable from the support provided by Huli Jia 360. This precisely underscores the value of its nursing collaboration platform and nursing tools.
Joint Operation with Hospitals
To enhance product operation and maintenance, as well as to better assist hospital nurses in patient management, Huli Jia 360 collaborates closely with hospitals.
First, Huli Jia 360 will promote various specialized nursing clinics for hospitals, establish virtual studios for nurses, create digital business cards, and display them on the APP. For elderly patients, printed business cards of nurses are also provided, allowing their children to download and schedule nursing services for their parents. In this way, patients can more easily find nurses they are familiar with, and nurses can more conveniently locate their patients.
Secondly, hospitals have a large volume of printed educational materials, such as hospitalization guidelines. Nursing Home 360 converts these printed materials into electronic versions and encodes them into course codes (QR codes and numeric codes). Patients can scan or enter the course codes to download and view these educational materials, thereby eliminating the need for hospitals to spend time and effort distributing printed materials to patients.
Additionally, Huli Jia 360 will provide a platform for sharing and discussing nursing cases. By categorizing cases according to professional nursing specialties, it will establish a specialized nursing case database to support physicians, nurses, and third-party providers in managing new cases, conducting academic research, and facilitating training.
Currently, 23 hospitals, including Shanghai General Hospital, Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University, Shanghai Children's Medical Center, Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, Jinshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, and Shanghai International Medical Center, have established partnerships with Huli Jia 360.
Assist Nurses in Patient Management
Through Huli Jia 360, nurses can conduct patient follow-ups, administer questionnaires, send notifications, and even utilize group chat features.
In hospitals, follow-up tasks are primarily performed by nurses. Within the follow-up feature of Huli Jia 360, nurses can choose whether to make follow-up records public, thereby safeguarding patient privacy.
The questionnaire function is designed to better assist nurses in understanding patients' recovery status.
The group chat feature functions similarly to WeChat, supporting video calls, PPT file sharing, and voice messages. Nurses can conduct simple meeting-based training sessions with patients through the Huli Jia 360 app.
Tiered Nursing and Remote Community Guidance
Tiered nursing care and remote community guidance are among the key priorities for Nursing Home 360’s future work. After receiving diagnosis and treatment at tertiary hospitals, patients can return to secondary hospitals or community health centers for ongoing care. Nurses at secondary hospitals can share patient data with nursing specialists from tertiary hospitals to obtain expert guidance, while these specialists can continue to monitor the recovery of discharged patients. Currently, the first pilot program for tiered nursing care has been implemented in Shanghai.
In addition to these core functions, Nursing Home 360 provides nurses with a suite of utility tools designed to enhance work efficiency and reduce workload. For instance, by using a mobile device for wound management, the time required to document a single wound can be kept under 30 seconds, with both measurement errors and error rates maintained below 5%.
To enhance nurses' professional skills, Huli Jia 360 has established a mobile learning and examination platform for hospital nursing departments and developed a training system for transitional care services. The first phase of the training program was held in Shanghai in January 2016, jointly organized by Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, Shanghai International Medical Center, and Huli Jia 360.
